Returns Policy

A Best Boat Parts.com endeavors to resolve our customer’s returns as quickly and effortlessly as possible. Therefore, our return policy below will assist us in providing you with the finest possible customer service. Please carefully read the complete returns policy prior to placing your order.
  1. Please carefully inspect all the parts in your shipment immediately. We must be notified within five (5) days of the receipt of your order for us to process a damaged or defective parts claim. All returns must be received in our returns warehouse no later than thirty (30) days from the date of the original invoice.
  2. Allowances will NOT be made for shortages or damage unless we are notified within five (5) days of shipment’s receipt.
  3. All returned merchandise must be accompanied by a Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number which can only be issued by calling our customer service department at 800-531-2173 between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm Eastern Standard Time, Monday through Saturday. Items without an RMA number that is clearly visible on the outer shipping carton will be refused.
  4. A twenty percent (20%) restocking fee will apply to all non-damaged and non-defective returned merchandise. Original shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. All defective goods will be exchanged with a new part.
  5. In order to receive credit for a return all goods must be in unused, good saleable condition, and in original packaging.
  6. There is NO return on electrical parts, ignition parts, or service tools. Special orders and obsolete parts are also non-returnable.
  7. Best Boat Parts.com reserves the right to inspect all returns and reject any return that does not meet the aforementioned policy.
  8. It is recommended that all returns be insured by the customer through their shipping carrier. Best Boat Parts.com assumes NO liability for lost or damaged goods being returned to our returns warehouse.
CREDITING YOUR ACCOUNT:

Best Boat Parts.com will make every effort to post refunds to the credit card account that appears on the original transaction within five (5) business days. Please note that some financial institutions may take up to ten (10) days additional days to post our credit to your account.

RETURNS POLICY: Best Boat Parts.com reserves the right to change our return policy at any time. Should a change in policy occur, Best Boat Parts.com will honor the policy that was in effect at the time of the original transaction. The date of record of our current policy is April 1, 2007.

SPECIAL NOTE: Please examine the contents of your order carefully. Shortages may result in small articles being overlooked or thrown out with packaging materials.
